Mr Peter Grieve is a Psychologist with Bridge Consulting Psychologists. Bridge’s therapists have provided excellent mental health care in Adelaide since 1993 and now offer a service at Nunyara House, Specialist Medical Centre on Wednesdays.

Pete primarily uses Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) to assist clients to overcome immediate concerns by building on existing strengths and focusing on life goals and priorities. He creates a caring, safe and collaborative space within which clients explore ways to overcome present difficulties and create meaningful and fulfilling lives. He also draws upon other evidenced based therapies such as Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Schema Therapy. Mindfulness, meditation and a self-compassionate approach to life have all been central to his own personal ethos for living well. Pete brings a breadth of life experience to his work, including 10 years Military service (RAAF) and Fly-in Fly-out Engineering roles. He is a qualified Early Childhood Educator having worked in Child Care Centres and Department of Education Pre-schools and also worked as a Residential Care Worker with at risk teenagers.

Pete took time out of the workforce as a stay at home Dad. Pete enjoys working with individuals across all ages and has a strong interest in working with families, couples, and those with long-standing recurrent problematic patterns.
