Nunyara House, Specialist Medical Centre registered a COVID-SAFE PLAN with the SA Government on the 1st of December 2020. All visitors will have to participate in a COVID-SAFE CHECK-IN by scanning our QR code using the mySA GOV app or by signing our COVID-SAFE attendance record.
Reception staff will be asking all consumers at appointment confirmation by telephone and at check-in the following questions:
Have you?
1. Traveled overseas or from interstate in the last 14 days
2. Been advised that you should be in home isolation for coronavirus
3. Been advised you are a close contact with a confirmed or suspected case of coronavirus
4. Exhibit symptoms of viral illness
If the answer is YES to any of these questions you will be asked about whether you are have any signs or symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever/history of fever OR acute respiratory symptoms (shortness of breath, cough, sore throat). If you exhibit any of these symptoms you will be directed for further screening and management to services within the Northern Adelaide Health Service.
If you have traveled from overseas or from interstate where COVID-19 restrictions are currently in place within 14 days or have been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of coronavirus and you do not have symptoms, your clinician will be asked to make an assessment if your appointment can be delayed until after a 14 day quarantine period.
If you have traveled to other countries and do not have symptoms, you should self-monitor for development of new symptoms. Your appointment can occur as booked.
