Making appointments:
All new appointments must be accompanied by a referral letter from a referring doctor.
Unless it is requested in a referral letter provided in advance, the responsibility for making appointments will be left to the patient - 08 85222899.
Patients will receive a reminder telephone call to confirm attendance several days before the appointment.
Initial appointments range in duration (30 to 60 minutes) depending on the Medical Specialist and the complexity of the referring problem.
Review appointments are of shorter duration (15 to 30 minutes).
Longer Review appointments
Complex problems or a consultation requiring generation of a medical report (eg driver's licence accreditation) will require a longer appointment. Please inform reception staff when making your appointment if this is likely to be the case so that the doctors' subsequent appointments can be scheduled appropriately and fewer people inconvenienced.
Missed appointments
Non attendance without adequate notification will attract a non-attendance fee.
Cancellations
Please do us the courtesy of contacting reception staff in plenty of time if you are unable to attend at the appointed time - 08 85222899.
